For a taste of the good life, consider taking a trip on the seas aboard Johnny Depp’s luxury yacht called Vajoliroja. Yes, it looks like a pirate ship à la Pirates of the Caribbean, but it’s the perfect excuse to harness the kid in your and set sail on a vacation that is filled with the luxuries any A-lister would expect.
Offered through Burgess Yachts, Depp has been renting his private luxury yacht for years. The luxury yacht can be chartered during the winter for cruising through the Bahamas and Caribbean for a price of about $130,000 per week, or during the low season for about $110,000 per week. He also offers up Vajoliroja for some summer Mediterranean cruising when the boat is housed on that side of the world.
The yacht is an opulent reflection of Depp’s personal style. Built by Proteksan Turquoise, this 156-foot yacht features an Art Deco design that was inspired by the classic gentleman’s yachts of the 1930’s. The rich color palette favors deep reds, and Vajoliroja has room for ten guests in five cabins, including the master stateroom, VIP cabin, double cabin, twin cabin, and a bunk cabin. There?s also room for eight crew members.
Toys onboard include waterskis, a wakeboard, kneel board, and snorkeling equipment, and if you’re unsure of where to go, Vajoliroja has itinerary suggestions for all three locations. In the Mediterranean, visit Antibes, Cannes, and Monte-Carlo, and in the Bahamas, start in Nassau and sail to Allen’s Cay, Warderick Wells, and Rose Island. The Caribbean itinerary includes stops in Antigua, Marigot Bay, St Vincent, Bequia, Tobago Cays, and Grenada.
